The Innovative Training Network (ITN) EuroAgeism meeting was held in Brussels on 25 October 2018, following the new recruitment of 15 early stage researchers. This meeting has a good chance for team members and representatives from policy institutions to know EuroAgeism and each other and to explore the potential for future collaborations and intersections. The ITN EuroAgeism focuses on harmonizing different theoretical and methodological disciplines in the field of ageism with particular research projects and advance the field by delivering an attractive multi-discipline, inter-sectoral, international research, training and supervision program on ageism.
The COST Action on Ageism took place at a final conference in Brussels on October 26, 2018. The researchers from ITN EuroAgeism attended the whole day final conference. Based on the achievement of this COST Action, EuroAgeism – a multi-disciplinary international network of researchers, policy makers and social and health care professionals – is now dedicated to the training of a new generation of Early Stage Researchers in the field of ageism.
