From January 21st to January 24th the Louis & Gabi Weisfeld School of Social Work at Bar-Ilan University will hold the research methodology workshop with a theme on quantitative and qualitative longitudinal research. A number of early-stage researchers and distinguished international scholars will visit BIU and participate in this workshop. This present workshop is geared towards providing both advanced researchers and early-stage researchers with new concepts, methodologies and practical tools to embark on longitudinal research and to take advantage of available longitudinal studies already in place. The first two days of the workshop are devoted to quantitative longitudinal research and the two days are devoted to qualitative longitudinal research.
Further, the Innovative Training Network (ITN) EuroAgeism meeting will be held in Tel Aviv on 25 January. This meeting is planned to present the first deliverable (ethic reports), to discuss the preparations for the first ITN Training School in Finland, EuroAgeism website developments and MOOCs.
