Federica Previtali is a doctoral researcher (ESR) in the ITN EuroAgeism at the Faculty of Social Science, Tampere University, Finland. She received a Master in Work and Organizational Psychology from the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy. Her research interests include constructions of age, aging workers, and the promotion of well-being in organizational contexts. She is also interested in the work-health balance and return-to-work after a long-standing health problem or disability. Her doctoral dissertation identifies and investigates ageist practice in institutional interpersonal encounters, and yields qualitative evidence on the dynamics of age inclusive and exclusive practices and discourses in work organizations.
